Your wedding is as special and unique as you are! And we are here to help make one of the most important days of your life as perfect and lovely as possible. We can provide ministerial services at the location of your choice.  Whether you choose our basic ceremony package with conventional vows, or create your own, you can be certain your ceremony will be beautiful in every way. And...you don't have to be a participant of our church to have us do your wedding!

Memorial Service/Funeral Service

At the time of the passing of a loved one, many people want a service and don't know where to turn. We at The Kindred House are here to support people in times of grief and loss. 

We can provide services at at the location of your choice.  Our services are positive, uplifting and are celebrations of the life lived. We honor your spiritual traditions.

Minister's Honorarium: $150.00


Baptism

For older children (age 7 & above) and adults, we provide a baptism service.  There is no fee for group baptisms which are held January, April, July, and October.

Christening/Baby Blessing

The ritual of Christening is ancient in origin predating even the earliest Christian traditions. Over the centuries, the form in which the rite is administered and the interpretation of its meaning have undergone many changes, and even today it is practiced in many different forms.

Underlying all differences in religious traditions is a common foundation - a sense that we are more than physical beings. The purpose of Christening is to recognize in an outer way the spiritual identity and purpose of a soul.

At The Kindred House, we look to the example of Jesus as our guide. In Mark 10: 13-16 we read that Jesus took children in his arms and blessed them. Christening is the act of welcoming a child into our world and recognizing this soul by name in its human journey. It is a time for parents to dedicate themselves to raising their child in an awareness of God's loving presence.

What the Service Is Like

The service lasts about 20 minutes. We explain the purpose, pray, recognize the divine potential of the child, ask the parents to dedicate themselves to the privilege and joy of nurturing the child, and extend our blessings to all.

Godparents and Sponsors

You may choose as many people in either or both of these roles as you wish, or have no Godparents or sponsors. There is no legal obligation or responsibility made through this service. If you choose to have someone in either of these roles we will ask them during the service to bless the child and parents in their life journey.

Minister honorarium is due payable in full one week before the scheduled event.

Holiday Fees add $75.00. Includes the Eve of, Day of, or Weekend of New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.

Travel Fees: Charged for all services performed outside of a 25 mile radius of Lake Elsinore, California, round trip. Distance is calculated using Mapquest.  Current standard IRS mileage rate is 50.5 cents per mile.  Additional fees may be required for requests for services outside of Riverside County, California.
